Key Violation Message

If you get a key violation message it is likely that the database has become corrupted. Hopefully the problem isn't in the main database table - in which case you'll need to go to your last backup and restore it. It's an extremely good idea to make a regular copy of your databases, just in case something like this happens. There's a good chance, however, that the key violation is in the Local Database list. The solution is to:

1. Navigate to "..Program Files\Idex\LocalDB"

2. Delete the files "DBList.*" (there should be three)

3. Reinstall Idex. This will recreate the deleted files.

4. The Favorite Databases list will now be empty so you will need to add your favorites back in again.

If this doesn't work, then do the same as above but delete the entire contents of the LocalDB folder (or even the folder itself).
